About Me

Washington
I am a 22 year old actress. I recently graduated from Belmont University, in Nashville TN, with a Bachlor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance. In May I moved back to my home state, Washignton, where I currently work at Starbucks! I am also working on starting up an after school youth theatre program called YATC. My hope is to eventually have my own 501c3 with YATC programs all over the US. I would also like to creat a program in which high school and college students are sent to inner cities and countries all over teh worls to provide two week long arts camps for underprivledged children. God alone knows the plans that he has for me and in time they will be revealed.

The Wisdom Tooth Comedy of Errors

So losing one's wisdom teeth is pretty pathetic. Oh my the crazy things that happen. First you have the gauze right after the surgery that makes it impossible to eat something when they tell you that you should. For me that was a Strawberry Vivanno smoothie from Starbucks, and I looked like an infant being fed with a spoon.
A few things can be expected after one gets thier wisdom teeth pulled. The first is that you will be sleepy and a little out of it. Ok, I was a little dizzy at first, but then felt very awake and alive the rest of the day.
Next the bleeding is supposed to stop in 30 to 60 minutes.... yeah my right side didn't stop bleeding for six hours. It was so much fun! Not! I got a little taste of what it is like to drink blood when we ran out of gauze on the way home and had to buy some more. So nasty! It burnt as it went down. I will no longer fantasize about being a vampire.
Next they give you two medications. The first is to be taken every four hours. The second is to be taken every eigth hours. So what happens whenyou go to take the first and think it is time for the second also? Well ?I happened to overdose on the second medication by taking it four hours too early. I cannot tell you how sick that finally made me feel.
Also after the first 24 hours you have to wash out your mouth every time you eat. Of course you have to eat every four hours when you take your medication. So then you also have to do a salt rinse followed by brushingyour front teeth and then finally letting mouthwash soak for one minute, every four hours as well.
Oh and the best part is I can't slurp, spit, chew, or swoosh anything in my mouth still. So you can imagine how funny it looks to pour fluids in and then let them just fall right out in a rinse.
Speaking of looks on day three I am home alone and of coruse still not one hundred percent better so I am in my jammies and have no makeup on when there is a knock on the door! It is one of my pastors. So I can barely talk, I look like trash and am wrapped in a blanket when I answer the door. How humbling!
My whole experience gets better and better every day!

If I could laugh now, I would. Unfortunately my mouth is too tight to laugh yet. So I will let you hopefully have a laugh for me.

I cannot wait to be able to talk normaly again, and to eat real food!

  1. Haha I did laugh and let me say you are my hero. I think you presented the reality of having your wisdom teeth removed very well. I am also very proud you opened the door, I would have acted as if I were asleep and well let the pastor leave a note, aint no one gonna see me in jammies with no makeup!!
