So much is happening all at once! I have been very busy the last few weeks with "Annie Get Your Gun" rehearsals, work, and wrighting a fellowship application. Now that I have a week off from rehearsals I have a bit more time open. It also happens to be Spring Break and my family is out of town. So I am all on my own at home. Already though my week is filling up fast! I have a huge list of things to get done and I'm thinking that it's going to be hard to get them all completed! First I am trying to catch up on a few things in my life that have been put to the side lately. Then I am trying to finish memorizing all my lines, songs, blocking and coreography by Thursday. I also want to catch up with some people and spend some time with friends. As well as write a bit more.
Oooo! I am writing a series fo children's books about a little boy that lives here in town named Shoe. He is so cute! I am watching him on Tuesday so hopefully we will have some awesome adventures together that I can write about.
Man it's crazy how fast life can jsut take off. I can't keep up it seems sometimes!

So Happy!
I just got back form three wonderful days of complete bliss!
I drove four and a half hours through the mountains and along the river. All the way I listened to worship music while Gods glorious creation surrounded me.
Then I spend the day with my grandparents. It was wonderful to spend time with them alone for once, and without the chaos of a crazy Holiday or family gathering.
On Wednesday I got to take a wonderful ride across the Puget Sound on the ferry! I love riding the ferry boat!
On the other side I was embraced by one of my best friends, Andrew. We spent the whole day together running errands and cleaning his room. It may sound a little odd, but it was one of the best days of my life. Why? Because we listened to worship music the whole time and got a chance to catch up in person. not to mention that we laughed nearly the entire day.
Then today I spent the morning with my grandparents again before taking another four and a half hour trip back home.
On the way home I made a stop in Leavenworth and took a nice walk before the final stretch home.
The best part of my trip though, was that I have a lot of along time with God while I was driving and riding the ferry. Time I desperately needed, and it was incredible.
So now I am back home, but I feel reenergized, excited about what God is doing in my life, and at peace about a few things in my life. Not to mention that i am still smiling form the time I got to spend with my grandparents and best friend!

Live, Laugh, Love
LIVE
LAUGH
LOVE
I keep seeing those words together everywhere. On cards, posters, jewelry. EVERYWHERE. It seems to be a little overused. Yet if you stop and think about things what is more important than to as a human live, laugh, and love?
These three words seem to sum up what could be the healthiest way to live a life.
To Live:
Earlier this year I looked up some incredible quotes on life and I realized that some people can be alive and breathing, but still not live.
"I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing."-Agatha Christie
"I could not, at any age, be content to take my place by the fireside and simply look on. Life was meant to be lived. Curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life." -Eleanor Roosevelt
"To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else." -Emily Dickinson
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." -Helen Keller
"We are always getting ready to live but never living." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
These words really hit me in the heart. To be alive and to be living is so much more than walking through the daily motions of eating, breathing, and sleeping. It is doing something with the time and the ability to think, move and breathe. It is using the body and intelligence and talent given to you by God to have an adventure in your years on earth. To live is such and exciting and amazing gift. A gift given only by God.
To Laugh:
I love to laugh. Often I find that I have multiple laughs that depend on how hard I am laughing and where my breathing patterns fall in the pattern of my laughter. For example if I start laughing really hard I will laugh as I inhale air and then I sound like a high pitched hyena. Other times my laugh comes on my release of air and it is loud and lower.
Why is laughter so healthy anyway? People say that it makes one live longer.
" You can turn painful situations around through laughter. If you can find humor in anything, even poverty, you can survive it." - Bill Cosby
"A smile starts on the lips, A grin spreads the the eyes, A chuckle comes form the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth form the soul, Overflows, and bubbles all around." - Carolyn Birmingham
"Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face." - Victor Hugo
"The most wasted of days is one without laughter." - E. E. Cummings
Can you imagine a life without laughter? I can't Without it how miserable we would be. Laughter comes into your body when true irony, bliss or love has begun to erupt within ones soul, and then it takes over your body in a thrilling and joyful array of sounds, smiles, shaking, stomach aches and tears all at once. To laugh is a miraculous gift.
To Love:
Without love neither laughter or the ability to Live would exists. See without love why would there be any reason to live? Without love where would happiness come form, and without happiness how could laughter even exist?
"I believe that in all things that exist in our world, love is the ultimate and greatest gift.
Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring." - Oscar Wilde
"Life is the flower for which love is the honey." - Victor Hugo
"We cannot do great things on this earth, only small things with great love." - Mother Teresa
Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." - I Corinthians 13:4-8
"And now these three remain: Faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." - I Corinthians 13:13
Love is the all powerful thing that drives all that we do in life. it is either because of love that we do something or in spite of it. All the same to love is more powerful than not to. I drives us forward into the things we are meant to do. It shows us the people that we are supposed to be.
Anyway just some thoughts on Live, Laugh and Love.

In My Dreams
I find it fascinating that sometimes things just come to you in your dreams.
I have had some of the most fantastic dreams ever lately. I can hardly stand it.
Some of them are so incredible that they have inspired in me a story that grows every second of my days now. I am beginning work on my first completely fictional book.
In time I promise to share pieces of it, but for now just know that it is going to be amazing!
I just love dreams!

The Wisdom Tooth Comedy of Errors
So losing one's wisdom teeth is pretty pathetic. Oh my the crazy things that happen. First you have the gauze right after the surgery that makes it impossible to eat something when they tell you that you should. For me that was a Strawberry Vivanno smoothie from Starbucks, and I looked like an infant being fed with a spoon.
A few things can be expected after one gets thier wisdom teeth pulled. The first is that you will be sleepy and a little out of it. Ok, I was a little dizzy at first, but then felt very awake and alive the rest of the day.
Next the bleeding is supposed to stop in 30 to 60 minutes.... yeah my right side didn't stop bleeding for six hours. It was so much fun! Not! I got a little taste of what it is like to drink blood when we ran out of gauze on the way home and had to buy some more. So nasty! It burnt as it went down. I will no longer fantasize about being a vampire.
Next they give you two medications. The first is to be taken every four hours. The second is to be taken every eigth hours. So what happens whenyou go to take the first and think it is time for the second also? Well ?I happened to overdose on the second medication by taking it four hours too early. I cannot tell you how sick that finally made me feel.
Also after the first 24 hours you have to wash out your mouth every time you eat. Of course you have to eat every four hours when you take your medication. So then you also have to do a salt rinse followed by brushingyour front teeth and then finally letting mouthwash soak for one minute, every four hours as well.
Oh and the best part is I can't slurp, spit, chew, or swoosh anything in my mouth still. So you can imagine how funny it looks to pour fluids in and then let them just fall right out in a rinse.
Speaking of looks on day three I am home alone and of coruse still not one hundred percent better so I am in my jammies and have no makeup on when there is a knock on the door! It is one of my pastors. So I can barely talk, I look like trash and am wrapped in a blanket when I answer the door. How humbling!
My whole experience gets better and better every day!
If I could laugh now, I would. Unfortunately my mouth is too tight to laugh yet. So I will let you hopefully have a laugh for me.
I cannot wait to be able to talk normaly again, and to eat real food!

Goodbye 2009
So it is still snowing like crazy. As someone today said it was practically a blizzard outside this afternoon.
I like the fact that we finally have received our steady snowfall for the winter and just as one year is ending and another is beginning. It is like receiving a fresh new year.
I could take this time to state all of my new years resolutions or think back on all the things that happened this past year, but I honestly don't see a need to right now. I had a hard, but wonderful year, and I plan to continue in the changes I am already making now. So there is nothing left to say.
I guess there is one more thing to day....
GOODBYE 2009!
I'm gonna go bring in the new year now!

A Blanket of White
SNOW!
It is amazing how a blanket of white can provide so much. It makes the morning you wake up to it serene, peaceful, and in a way new.
Although the snow began yesterday while I was at work, it still had this effect on me when I awoke this morning. It felt like all the crazy worries of life had disappeared for a moment. Like everything was simply still and fresh.
It made me think, Christmas is gone and the New Year is right around the corner. Everything is starting anew. Holiday craziness is gone and a fresh start is coming.
Life is just better with a fresh snowfall!
